01 Who we are
Dream11 Zone is an independent editorial desk covering cricket and fantasy sports for Indian readers. We are not the operator of any fantasy sports platform, we do not place bets and we do not run paid contests. We write for readers who want clear, sourced reads on cricket, fantasy selection strategy and the apps that host fantasy contests in India.
The desk covers six editorial rooms: matches, predictions, teams, players, fantasy tips and news. Each room has its own beat and its own desk editor.
02 Our editorial standards
Three standards govern everything the desk publishes. First: every number is sourced. Where we publish a form average, a win probability, a captain-pick rate or a withdrawal-time estimate, the source is linked in the sentence. Where the source is our own internal model, the model is described in plain language at the methodology page.
Second: commercial relationships do not influence editorial logic. Where the desk accepts an advertising placement — and we accept display ads in clearly labelled zones — the placement does not change the editorial copy. Where the desk accepts an affiliate link — currently limited to the platform-login redirect — the link is marked rel="sponsored" with the destination disclosed.
Third: corrections are not buried. Where a published article is corrected, the correction is published as a footnote in the same article and dated, with the original article version retained for transparency.
03 Commercial relationships
Dream11 Zone accepts display advertising. The desk does not accept payment in exchange for editorial coverage. The desk does accept a sponsor-redirect to the Dream11 platform from the homepage CTA — this redirect is disclosed as a sponsored link in the relevant HTML attributes and in a footer compliance notice.
Where a reader clicks through, the relationship is a commercial referral. Editorial coverage of the platform itself remains independent.
04 Compliance and the law
Real-money fantasy contests are restricted in seven Indian states — the list is on the is Dream11 legal? page. The desk will not recommend a deposit from a restricted state and will not write copy that targets restricted-state readers. The minimum age for a fantasy contest is 18 years. The desk does not write copy targeted at anyone under 18.
